Years ago, if you participated in Pentecostal prayer meetings, you would have often encountered people crying out to God not only in languages understood and in unknown tongues, but without words, groaning in lament. Groaning in the Spirit is an important part of prayer as the Spirit Himself makes intercession through us in a supernatural means of pouring our heart out before the Lord that captures our longings, grief, passions and petitions. This series, which will be continually added too, deals with lament and groaning in the Spirit as a necessary aspect of the Pentecostal prayer life.
